American Red Cross Disaster Certification Course

NSNA has collaborated with the American Red Cross (ARC) to offer disaster training. This exciting opportunity teaches how to provide health care services in disaster shelters. Conference registration is required but there is no additional fee for this certification.

Note to all Registrants

All Convention Registrants will receive a special link to register for the American Red Cross training.

During the virtual conference, only one session will be offered live:
  • Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 at 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm EST.

Speaker: Cheryl Schmidt, PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF, FAAN, American Red Cross Nurse Educator, and Professor of Nursing, Arizona State University, Phoenix, AZ; and Jennifer Nagele, BSN, RN, ANA advisor to the Minnesota Student Nurse Association

Registration link will be sent April 2, 2021 to registrants.  The live class will be limited to the first 300 people.  Virtual Class and registration will also be available.
