​Travel Advisory: NSNA Annual Convention 
Dear Attendees,

As you prepare for travel to the NSNA Annual Convention in Houston, we want to share an important update to help ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience.

Due to increased congestion and longer-than-usual processing times at airports, travelers are experiencing extended lines at security and check-in across multiple locations.

To help avoid delays, we strongly recommend the following:
  • Plan to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your scheduled departure time
  • Check directly with your airline prior to travel for any updates or recommended arrival times
  • Monitor your departure airport’s website or alerts on the day of travel for real-time conditions
  • Allow additional time for check-in, security screening, and boarding

​These steps are intended to provide you with flexibility and reduce the risk of missed flights.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will forfeit one night's room and tax.

**Debit Cards are not recommended since the hotel immediately places a pre- authorization for incidentals upon check-in ($100.00). The amount held is based on hotel policy and anything unused is released at checkout. Release timelines may vary by bank and can take up to 5 business days.  Check with your financial institution for their policy on funds being returned to your account.  If the first $100 is used prior to checkout, another $100 will be held. To avoid holds, the hotel recommends using your debit card only for room and tax. Tell the front desk that you will not charge any incidental fees to your room.
