The NSNA Resolutions Committee is appointed by the NSNA President with Board approval. This committee reviews all resolutions submitted to ensure workable implementation before resolutions are presented to the House of Delegates. Specifically, the committee edits, rewrites, or combines resolutions; consults with the makers of all resolutions; and rejects those resolutions that are considered unfeasible, submitted after the deadline, or that duplicate existing NSNA policies.
The Nominating and Elections Committee (NEC) is also composed solely of student nurses and is elected by the House to select a slate of candidates for elections the following year. The NEC is a separate body from the Board of Directors and reports directly to the House of Delegates.
